A Frugal Way to Print Pictures

A Frugal Way to Print Pictures

Do you have “millions” of pictures that you’d love to have printed…yet the expense and time involved keep you from accomplishing your wish? Here is an idea for you.

You may wish to create 4×6 collage prints of your pictures. It is very inexpensive and quick.collage print I like to put two to five pictures in each collage. I questioned at first whether it was a good idea to print small pictures, but then I watched my kids look at pictures on their hand-held devices. They look at pictures much smaller than I’d be printing them. I love how you upload the pictures to a site, select the ones you want in your collage, and then select a background color. As simple as that! Most sites let you swap the pictures around to get the look you are after. Then you put the 4×6 collage in your cart and begin another one. Pay for your collages and have them sent to your home.

After you get your collages in the mail, I’d suggest simply putting them on regular 8 ½ x 11 sized paper with a glue stick, write the date and a few words to describe the event, slip the paper into a sheet protector and then into a three-ringed binder. Finished—no fluff or frill needed. Your kids will love it. You will love it. And it builds family unity to review the past.scrapbook the collage prints

An added bonus to using a site to print the collage photos is that the site keeps your pictures on your account. Then, if your phone gets lost or your computer crashes, you still have your pictures.

(If you have specific questions about how to create the collage, email me in the “about us” tab at the top.)

Great ideas! I am almost 15 years behind in developing photos but I hope to take it on soon. Maybe now I will get started!
