Next Year's Garden - Kontent Kiddos

I decided to write a quick post to let you know that you can store seed packets in a plastic freezer bag in the freezer for next year’s garden. The next year they still grow great.

I like to store enough seeds that I could plant a suitable garden the next year without ever going to the store. With times as uncertain as they are, this hack might be very important. Plan ahead and buy next year’s seeds! I have successfully done this for over 20 years.

A second thing to consider is planting vegetables/fruits/herbs that come back each year. I like wild onions, chives, raspberries, fruit trees, rhubarb, black berries, etc. Do a little research and learn what grows well in your area. It is peaceful to know you can take action and help increase your chances of prosperity in this crazy world. Happy planting…and harvesting.
